BTV Plast Acquired by Benson Oak, Restructuring Announced

Benson Oak Capital, a Czech-based investment house, announced it had acquired a 100% stake in BTV Plast. Benson Oak plans to restructure and recapitalize BTV Plast, which has suffered heavily from an unknown level of debt.

BTV Plast will be merged with Plastov MR AS, a Liberec-based company, and Plastkov Automotive AS, a Hlinsko firm. The exact details and cost of the transaction have not been revealed.

BTV Plast is a Czech-based producer of plastic parts for automobiles located in Jabloec nad Nisou. The company's clients include Skoda, Volkswagen and Toyota. After its merger with Benson Oak's two other injection mold companies, the turnover is estimated to be EUR 72 million with an approximate employee count of 1,600.
