Krokus PE Fund Acquires 44% of Polmed SA

Nova Polonia Natexis II, a fund managed by Polish private equity firm Krokus PE, has announced its fifth investment after acquiring a 44% share in POLMED. The Krokus investment in the Polish medical services company was made via a capital increase to help finance future growth and expansion.

Polmed is a polish health care services provider in operation since 1999. The company provides basic treatment, medical diagnostics, ambulatory services, rehabilitation services, minor surgery, and dental treatment through a network of ten outpatient clinics and various contracted partners throughout Poland. With Polmed, patients have access to a wide range of doctors, nurses, and midwives as well as quality medical equipment and a 24-hour call center. The company is actively expanding within Poland and claims an average 20%-30% annual growth rate in revenue and profits.

Based in Warsaw, Krokus PE is a Polish private equity company concentrating on buy-outs and capital expansion projects in lower and mid-cap companies.

The typical Krokus deal is an investment between €3 million and €10 million and an exit horizon of 3 to 5 years. Kroukus does not consider any start-up or seed investment opportunities.
